Commercial & fleet wraps

Wraps are one of the most cost-effective marketing tools available to a business. A branded fleet vehicle is seen by thousands of people every day — far more than any billboard, at a fraction of the cost. Aftercare — how to protect your wrap

A quality wrap, cared for properly, will look great for 3–5 years. These habits make the difference:

• Wait 7 days before the first wash — the adhesive continues to cure. Avoid high-pressure jets during this window.
• Hand wash with pH-neutral shampoo only — never use degreasers, dish soap or alkaline cleaners on vinyl.
• Avoid automatic car washes with brushes — they abrade the film and cause lifting edges.
• Never use a high-pressure jet near film edges — the pressure can lift wrapped corners. Keep 30cm+ distance.
• Do not polish matte or satin wraps — the abrasives will damage the texture. Only specialist matte-safe products may be used.
• Apply a wrap-safe sealant every 3–6 months — this keeps the film supple, adds UV protection, and makes cleaning easier. Available at our studio.
• Book an annual inspection — we check for lifting, contamination and film health, and can touch up any small issues before they grow.

How long does a wrap last?

Quality vinyl wrap, professionally installed and cared for, lasts 3–5 years. Gloss and satin finishes tend to hold up longest; matte finishes are more sensitive to contamination and require gentler care. Commercial wraps on high-mileage vehicles typically last 3–4 years. Films installed incorrectly — rushed edges, trapped dust — can start to lift or bubble within months, which is why installer skill matters more than film brand. When the wrap eventually reaches the end of its life, it can be removed cleanly to reveal the original paint.
